We often witness trucks filled with young lambs arriving at the slaughterhouses, more often at the Halal slaughterhouse. In the Spring when eating young lambs is in demand and around the times of religious holidays we see many more. These young lambs are gentle, helpless, and innocent. If they’re not too fearful of humans,, they nuzzle our hands for attention much like our dog companions do. The violence that awaits them is unbearable and unspeakable.
