Spotlight: David Magina
From slaughterhouse inspector to animal rights activist, our activist spotlight is on David Magina.
I understand the hesitancy to bear witness. It’s not easy, and can be overwhelming. How can we live in such an unjust society. But there are many reasons why I think it’s important. First and most importantly it’s giving a few beings perhaps the only voice they’ll ever share with the world.

It’s been a privilege to help people see the truth about animal agriculture. We can’t make change by forcing views onto people, but we can inspire change by letting people decide for themselves when they see the individuals inside of the trucks.

I believe that we all offer unique ways to convey our message and so it’s our duty to be an activist in one way or another. We like to pretend to do things that we would never dream of acting out in real life. Yet, we subject billions of animals annually to the very things that terrify us the most every time we support and contribute to the use of animals for food.
