Directly behind the trendy Stockyards Village shopping complex in Toronto, Ontario, you might be shocked to learn that a real-life horror movie is playing out for animals each day.

Have you wondered what you might see inside those transport trucks?

If you live or frequent the area of St. Clair Avenue at Keele Street in Toronto, frequently referred to as “the Stockyards District”, you will have noticed the continual arrival of transport trucks with open slats on the sides. 

If you come closer to those trucks, you’ll see many pairs of frightened eyes peering back at you from inside those trucks. Mothers, sons, daughters, friends. Sentient beings with the same capacity to suffer as we do. All are intentionally hidden victims who are about to arrive at the most violent place on Earth: the slaughterhouse.
